CHUCK MALY • ARTIST

I was raised in a small town an hour south of Chicago, Illinois and I currently reside there with my wonderful wife. We love to take long walks outdoors and I stop to photograph everything nature has to show us.

 

I was voted “Most Creative” of my class my senior year in High School then attended Joliet Junior College majoring in art. A few years later I attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 

I have been a sign painter for over 40 years and worked at a print shop as a Graphic Designer for 5 years.

I have been lettering comic books professionally since 1991. I started with Marvel and have worked for quite a few different companies through the years.

​

I have designed more than a dozen pins for the local and state Lions Club and have designed more than a dozen T-Shirts for the Braidwood Lions Club Summer Fest.

 

For three years I was the Graphic Designer and Layout Artist for a quarterly magazine that ran 12 Issues.

​

Some of my work is on display and for sale at Gallery 105 inside the Hummingbird Coffee Shop in Piper City, Illinois.
